Canada will have thirteen gymnasts participating in the 2022 Pan American Championships in Rhythmic Gymnastics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil from July 7 to 10, 2022. Canadians will compete in the senior individual events, junior individual events, and junior group events. Qualifications for the event will begin on July 7.
Ahead of the 2022 Pan American Championships, the 2022 Canadian Championships in Rhythmic Gymnastics were hosted at the Richmond Oval in British Columbia. During this event, junior Pan American team members Karina Kamenetsky, Phoebe Wang, and Angelina Lin took to the podium in the junior all-around competition. From the senior Pan American team, Carmel Kallemaa finished in fourth place all-around at the Canadian Championships, followed by Christina Savchenko in fifth place all-around.

The 2022 Pan American Championships began in June with Trampoline Gymnastics where Canada achieved two silver medal finishes in the men’s individual and men’s synchronised trampoline events. The 2022 Pan American Championships will wrap-up with Artistic Gymnastics from July 15 to 17.
