Responsible Coaching Movement:
Gymnastics Canada has signed the pledge to align our practices with Phase 1 of the Coaching Association of Canada’s Responsible Coaching Movement (RCM) and is committed to ensuring that our athletes and coaches are protected. How can clubs build a safer sport environment? Take the pledge. The RCM is a call to action for organizations to implement realistic change based on their individual state of readiness coordinated by the Coaching Association of Canada and the Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport. It integrates three key areas:
- Rule of Two
- Background screening
- Respect and ethics training
