Chrobok Finishes Fourth at Birmingham World Cup

Chrobok’s highest apparatus result came on beam, where she finished third overall following a strong routine and scoring 12.400 points. “At Elite Canada, I had some trouble on beam so I’m really happy that I stayed on and fought for everything and scored fairly well,” said Chrobok following competition.

On vault, Chrobok landed her highest score of the competition, with a 13.800-point performance. Chrobok also scored 12.866 on bars and 12.300 on floor.

“I was happy with my results today,” said Chrobok. “The competition went well, hitting four for four on my routines. There are definitely areas for improvement but I gained a lot of experience. The biggest take away from this competition is the experience.”

“A World Cup event is quite prestigious, and through the incredible atmosphere, sold out venue, and supportive fans, I had to stay focused through all of it, including fireworks, smoke, confetti, and lots of cameras. This is a skill that I can build upon and take along with me at the next competition.”

Chrobok is looking forward to taking the experience and momentum gained in Birmingham and carry it with her throughout the 2018 season.
