Adam Janssen announced as Program Manager for Men’s Artistic Gymnastics

“We are pleased to have Adam join our high-performance management team and we look forward to his expertise in contributing to our longer-term national team objectives of qualifying a MAG team for the 2024 Olympic Games,” said Ian Moss, CEO of Gymnastics Canada. 

 Janssen added: “”I am excited to be joining Gymnastics Canada, and I look forward to working to achieve both the short and long-term goals of the MAG program.”

Janssen brings significant sport technical expertise to the role, having previously served in high performance leadership roles with Table Tennis Canada, Athletics Canada, and the Canadian Olympic Committee. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Marketing & Related Support Services from Long Island University, where he was a soccer scholarship athlete for the NCAA Division One school.

In his new role, Janssen will be responsible for the overall leadership and management of the MAG program at the High-Performance and domestic levels. He will provide communication and documentation both internally and externally related to the program, provide technical leadership at domestic events, lead and oversee various committees relating to the program, develop and oversee the program budget and funding related to the program, and manage IST for the national team.
