Canada will compete in the Men’s and Women’s Artistic Gymnastics Pan American Championships, with athletes in both the senior and junior categories. Qualifications for the competition begin on July 15 and will include individual as well as team events.
Ahead of the 2022 Pan American Championships, the 2022 Canadian Championships in Artistic Gymnastics were hosted at the Richmond Oval in British Columbia. During the competition, Rose Woo was crowned the women’s Senior 2022 Canadian Champion while Chris Kaji was named the men’s Senior (21+) 2022 Canadian Champion and Felix Dolci was named the Next Gen (18-20) 2022 Canadian Champion.

The 2022 Pan American Championships began in June with Trampoline Gymnastics where Canada achieved two silver medal finishes in the men’s individual and men’s synchronised trampoline events. During the 2022 Pan American Championships in Rhythmic Gymnastics, held from July 7 to 10, Carmel Kallemaa captured the bronze in the All-Around Senior competition.
