Kieran Lupish finishes 5th in the Double-Mini Trampoline competition during the 2022 World Games in Birmingham, USA

Kieran Lupish (Burlington T&T, ON) finished 5th in the men’s double mini-trampoline competition with a total score of 25.800, while Gabby Flynn (Shasta Trampoline, BC) finished 7th in women’s double-mini trampoline competition with a total score of 24.300.

“I am so proud to be a part of this humbling sport comprised of the most talented athletes in the world. It was a privilege to compete at the 2022 World Games,” shared Lupish later on Instagram. “A big thank you for all the support I have received through the duration of the competition.”

“In the end, I really only hit one of my passes, and yet couldn’t have been happier with this competition,” shared Gabby Flynn via Instagram following the competition. “It was so much fun with an amazing group of people and some insanely talents competitors.”

In the tumbling competition, Taylor Pillinger (VIP Gymsports, BC) finished 9th in the women’s qualifications with a total score of 40.000, while Justin Thompson (Quite Bay Gymnastics, ON) finished 10th in the men’s qualifications with a score of 44.200.

The World Games is an international multi-sport competition held every four years in the year following the Summer Olympic Games. This year, more than 3,600 athletes from more than 30 different sports competed in Alabama.  For full results from the 2022 World Games, click here:
