Onyshko and Morgan fall just shy of the podium during apparatus finals at Rio Test Event
RIO DE JANEIRO, BRA (April 18, 2016) – Isabela Onyshko of Brandon, MB and Scott Morgan of Vancouver, BC fell just shy of the podium Monday during the apparatus finals at the Aquece Test Event in Rio de Janeiro collecting three-fourth place finishes between the two of them.

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRA (April 17, 2016) – Isabela Onyshko of Brandon, MB and Victoria-Kayen Woo of Brossard, QC represented Canada strongly in the women’s artistic gymnastics qualifiers at the Aquece Rio Test Event Saturday in Rio with Onyshko finishing 10th overall and Woo 40th. With Canada already qualified for the Olympic Games this summer, both athletes were here to gain experience as they prepare for their final Olympic team selection camp in June.

The team finished eighth overall, with the top-four teams earning the sought after qualifying spots for the Olympic Games.

This is the last chance to qualify for the Olympic Games for our men’s artistic gymnastics team, men’s trampoline, and rhythmic gymnastics.
