Ontario, Quebec, B.C. sweep gold in team finals at 2015 Trampoline Gymnastics Canadian Open

In the trampoline competition British Columbia, led by senior team veteran Samantha Smith, topped the field in the women’s event while Quebec took the men’s title.

Junior Jeremy Chartier of the four-man Quebec team came up with the highest individual score in the men’s final with 33 points.

In double mini trampoline B.C. won the women’s title and Quebec dominated the men’s event to win the gold.

B.C. team member Adele Lefevre tied with Alberta’s Alison Young for the top individual score with 36 points each.

Ontario won both of its gold medals in the men’s and women’s tumbling finals. Four-time senior champion Jon Schwaiger of Burlington, Ont., led the way on the men’s side with the top individual score of 34.900 points.

In the women’s final, Canadian women’s senior champion Jordan Sugrim of Mississauga, Ont, also came up with the top individual performance to lead Ontario to a convincing victory over runner up Alberta.
