Strong Results at Artistic Gymnastics World Cup in Germany

Woo of Brossard, QC advanced to three of four apparatus finals, while Marois of Ile Bizard, QC competed in one event final. Woo finished seventh on uneven bars and eighth on balance beam following a fall that cost her some points overall, but was pleased with her fourth place finish on floor.

“I’m pretty happy about how solid the beam routine was today except for the fall, it was much better than qualifications,” said Woo following competition. “I was very happy with fourth place today, it was a strong group of athletes competing and I’m excited with my performances.”

Marois finished sixth on vault following a fall on her first pass. A learning experience for Marois, that she will be able to use moving forward in competitions. “I was very excited to have made the vault finals at my first World Cup,” said Marois.
