STUTTGART, GER (October 13, 2019) – The 2019 FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships wrapped up on Sunday in Stuttgart, GER with Canadians Ana Padurariu of Whitby, ON and Brooklyn Moors of Cambridge, ON competing in the beam and floor apparatus finals respectively, and René Cournoyer of Repentigny, QC finding out that he has qualified for the Olympic Games in Tokyo 2020.
Olsen finishes just off the podium in vault final at Artistic Gymnastics World Championships
STUTTGART, GER (October 12, 2019) – Shallon Olsen of Surrey, BC landed just off the podium in the vault finals of the 2019 FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships on Saturday, finishing fourth overall. Simone Biles of the USA won yet another gold medal to add to her collection, while Jade Carey of the USA took silver and Ellie Downie of Great Britain the bronze.
Black narrowly misses podium in the all-around at Artistic Gymnastics World Championships
STUTTGART, GER (October 10, 2019) – Ellie Black of Halifax, NS just missed making it onto the podium in the women’s all-around competition on Thursday at the 2019 FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships in Stuttgart, GER, finishing fourth, just 0.167 points away from the bronze medal. Brooklyn Moors of Cambridge, ON finished 14th.
Canada finishes seventh in women’s team final at 2019 World Championships
STUTTGART, GER (October 8, 2019) – The Canadian women’s artistic gymnastics team finished seventh in the team finals at the 2019 FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships on Tuesday afternoon, while the USA retained their team World title. Russia took the silver, and Italy captured the bronze.
Tokyo 2020 Qualification eludes Canadian men’s artistic gymnastics team
STUTTGART, GER (October 7, 2019) – Despite a strong effort, the Canadian men’s artistic gymnastics team was unable to obtain a team qualification spot for the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo during the team qualifiers at the 2019 FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships in Stuttgart, GER on Monday.

2019 Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships wrap-up in Azerbaijan
