Rhythmic gymnasts return home gold medallists following the team finals at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham
OTTAWA, ON (August 15, 2022) – The 2022 Commonwealth Games continued with the Rhythmic Gymnastics competition from August 4 to 6 in Birmingham. Team Canada captured the gold medal in the team finals as well as medal finishes in each of the apparatus finals.

Gavin Dodd sets new Canadian difficulty record for Double-Mini Trampoline at the 2022 Canadian Championships
OTTAWA, ON (August 5, 2022) – The 2022 Canadian Championships in Trampoline Gymnastics were held from July 21 to 24 in Calgary, AB. Among the top performances was Gavin Dodd, who set the new Canadian difficulty record of 20.8 on Double-Mini Trampoline and captured the gold medal in the senior men’s DMT competition.
Felix Dolci brings home the bronze medal in the Senior Men’s All-Around competition at the 2022 Pan American Championships in Artistic Gymnastics
OTTAWA, ON (July 22, 2022) – Team Canada travelled to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil from July 15-17 for the 2022 Pan American Championships in Artistic Gymnastics. The competition included men’s and women’s artistic gymnastics in both the junior and senior categories. Team Canada included nineteen athletes – nine women and ten men.

OTTAWA, ON (July 20, 2022) – The 2022 World Games were held in Birmingham, USA from July 15-17, 2022. Team Canada included four members, two for Double-Mini Trampoline (one man and one woman) and two for Tumbling (one man and one woman).
Carmel Kallemaa awarded senior third all-around at the 2022 Pan American Championships in Rhythmic Gymnastics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
OTTAWA, ON (July 14, 2022) – Team Canada travelled to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil from July 7-10 for the 2022 Pan American Championships in Rhythmic Gymnastics. In the senior individual competition, Carmel Kallemaa finished 3rd All-Around, while Suzanna Shahbazian finished 6th All-Around. In the junior individual competition, Karina Kamenetsky finished 7th All-Around, and Phoebe Wang finished 9th All-Around.
Sophiane Méthot competes in both individual and synchronised trampoline finals in 51st Nissen Cup in Arosa, Switzerland
OTTAWA, ON (July 12, 2022) – Sophiane Méthot qualified for both the individual and synchronised trampoline finals during the 51st Nissen Cup in Arosa, Switzerland on July 2, 2022. Méthot finished in 6th place in the individual trampoline event, while finishing in 7th place alongside Sarah Milette in the synchronised trampoline event.
