Ellie Black captures fifth senior national all-around title at 2018 Canadian Championships in Artistic Gymnastics
WATERLOO, ON (May 27, 2018) – Ellie Black of Halifax, NS captured her fifth senior all-around title as well as four individual apparatus medals, including two gold, to wrap up the 2018 Canadian Championships in Artistic Gymnastics on Sunday, while newly crowned men’s senior all-around champion René Cournoyer of Repentigny, QC, captured medals in all six apparatus finals on the men’s side.

MEDELLIN, COL (April 29, 2018) – David Sandro of Acton, ON was the top Canadian on the final day of the 2018 Pacific Rim Championships in Medellin, Colombia – capturing four medals in the junior men’s artistic gymnastics individual apparatus finals – including gold on high bar. In total, Team Canada collected 20 medals on the final day of competition, and 30 medals overall across the four disciplines of men’s and women’s artistic, rhythmic, and trampoline during the course of the competition.
