Canadian Gymnastics Championships join COC and CPC 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Trials Series presented by Bell

TORONTO/OTTAWA (February 3, 2020) – On Monday, the Canadian Olympic Committee (COC) and the Canadian Paralympic Committee (CPC), in partnership with Swimming Canada, Gymnastics Canada and Athletics Canada, announced the first-ever 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Trials Series presented by Bell. This collaboration is designed to elevate the profiles of the athletes involved as well as the three National Sport Organization competition trials experience that will help determine Team Canada’s Tokyo 2020 teams.

INS Quebec selected as national training centre & Olympic preparation site for artistic & trampoline gymnastics

Montréal, December 12, 2019 – Gymnastics Canada and the Institut national du sport du Québec (INS Québec) are pleased to announce a partnership confirming the establishment of a national training centre at the INS Québec Complex for artistic gymnastics and trampoline gymnastics. The INS Québec also becomes the primary site for Olympic preparation for Tokyo (2020) and Paris (2024) Olympic Games for artistic gymnastics.

MacLennan captures bronze in women’s trampoline to close out 2019 World Championships

TOKYO, JPN (December 1, 2019) – Rosie MacLennan of King City, ON captured a bronze medal in women’s individual trampoline on Sunday to wrap-up the 2019 FIG Trampoline Gymnastics World Championships in Tokyo, JPN. Canada leaves the competition with three bronze medals, an Olympic qualification spot in women’s trampoline, and four quota spots for the 2021 World Games in tumbling and double mini-trampoline (DMT).
