Canadian Rhythmic Gymnasts looking to secure 2016 Olympic Games qualifications at World Championships in Stuttgart, Germany
OTTAWA, ON (September 3, 2015) — Pan American Games team members Patricia Bezzoubenko, Carmen Whelan, and the senior group of Katrina Cameron, Maya Kojevnikov, Lucinda Nowell, Vanessa Panov, Anjelika Reznik and Victoria Reznik are set to compete at the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships from September 7th to 13th in Stuttgart, Germany. They will also be joined by third-ranked senior national team athlete Katherine Uchida in the individual competition. All athletes will be looking to qualify for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
GYMNOVA and Gymnastics Canada renew sponsorship agreement through 2020
Ottawa, ON (September 1, 2015) – Gymnastics Canada (GCG) and GYMNOVA have renewed a partnership agreement which designates GYMNOVA, Division Sports-Rep, and SA Sport as the official suppliers of Gymnastics equipment for all of Gymnastics Canada’s domestic and international events hosted in Canada.
Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup Series culminates in Kazan, Russia
Members of the national rhythmic gymnastics team recently competed at three World Cup competitions in Budapest (Hungary), Sofia (Bulgaria), and Kazan (Russia). All three events were preparation for the World Championships that will take place September 7-13 in Stuttgart, Germany.
Canada wins silver and bronze medals at 2015 ANAC International Aerobic Gymnastics Championship
Twenty-three aerobic gymnasts represented Canada at the 2015 ANAC International Aerobics Championship held in San Diego, California, July 27 – 31st, and came home with two event medals.

OTTAWA (August 4, 2015) – Gymnastics Canada is pleased to announce that Edmonton has been selected as the host city for the 2016 Canadian Artistic and Trampoline Gymnastics Championships. Close to 1,000 athletes, coaches, and officials from across the country will challenge for titles in age groups ranging from novice to senior with all eyes sure to be focussed on Canada’s top-ranked athletes as they battle for a place on the 2016 Olympic team.
